Architectural organism
Drbal, Jaroslav ; Mačuda, Michal (referee) ; Vítek, Jiří (advisor)
The inspiration is the human body. It is a fascinating grouping of diverse types of tissues, thanks to specialized cells that form organs that perform various tasks in your body - perfect cooperation of individual groups - organs. Your authorities should be understood as "machines" that fulfill your responsibilities throughout the system. These machines are suitable for us and help us so that we can get on our side as well. Man changes, he looks for the environment and organs, and therefore parts of his bodies change with whom. Motivation is the search for articulation of individual processes, principles taking place in the human body. They perceive them that it is possible to observe all the principles taking place on a microscopic scale and to approach us on a scale - they will reduce man. All is intertwined.
Jaroslavice – place in the landscape
Šmejkal, Jiří ; Galeová, Nicol (referee) ; Ponešová, Barbora (advisor)
The theme of this diploma thesis is the architectural study of the complex of the Farm of 3D Printers in Jaroslavice. The technology of 3D printing at its speed of development has far outweighed the response to its needs. It lacks a new systematically planned building typology corresponding to the requirements of farms. Farms adapt to the spaces. The main aim of the work is to introduce the possibility of turning the situation and adapting the premises to the farms. The thesis follows the urban design of the restructuring of the Jaroslavice landscape elaborated in the previous semester. The project respects established principles at microregion level in the form of emphasis on self-sufficiency, population integrity or the use of current technologies. The land is located on the southern part of Jaroslavice. There are 3 agricultural buildings located on the property, which until 2010, when a photovoltaic power plant was built, operated in conjunction with a neighboring agricultural court. After the power plant was built, the bonds were irreversibly broken. Buildings are in a very poor condition and mutual cooperation no longer works. The existing solution replaces and shows the possibility of using solar energy in a different way. Thus, the construction cartridge works with a hybrid typology where the 3D production area is combined with the maximum solar gains of the photovoltaic panels. Generative methods have been used to design dominantly either for finding a form in terms of achieving maximum solar gains or after verifying the efficiency of the structure. The proposal has several scenarios of possible development. There are four different stages of growth and the linkage of production areas. Printers are able to replicate themselves at such a rate that they can expect rapid growth. The proposal uses controlled growth methods to simulate complex development under the conditions of maximum solar radiation. Visual distraction and overheating are also solved by atypical sunsets on the exterior façade. Thin-film photovoltaic panels are used on the sun, so it is able to produce electricity besides the shield. The energy-efficient shape along with the great advantage of the layout solution, instead of the corridor disposition, is a basic cell on the central plan view. This makes it possible to control and operate more of the machines more efficiently. The production site forwards counts full robot automation.

Taxonomic key (handbook) to determine common organisms of a forest ecosystem applicable to lower secondary schools
GOLDFINGEROVÁ, Aneta
The bachelor's thesis revises commonly occurring organisms of forest ecosystems in textbooks of natural history and the region of Český Krumlov and their processing into a brief key, usable at the 2nd level of primary schools. The theoretical part deals with the forest and its changes, forest communities, embedding the issue in the framework educational program and the development and creation of identification keys. The practical part describes the occurrence of forest organisms in available textbooks of natural history, based on which and taking into account regional specifics, an identification key (manual) was created, whose main mission is to teach students with similar, far more complex, materials to work.

Biological aspects of stress
Sarisová, Kristina ; Šivicová, Gabriela (advisor) ; Hrachovinová, Tamara (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to describe stress as a psychological phenomenon with an emphasis on the biological aspects. The work is divided into two main parts. The first is a literary review study where stress is initially explained in general terms, with the definition of stress, stress theory, types of stress, stressors and symptoms of stress. Further there are described neural and hormonal mechanisms of stress and various hormones along with the endocrine glands which play an important role in the stress response. Then the paper deals with the possible effects of stress on the individual systems of the body. The following part is a description of mental disorders which are the effects of stress most associated. In the second part of the text is a proposal for research which presents a comparison of leaching of the stress hormone cortisol in individuals with posttraumatic stress disorder and healthy controls.
The organic and organized
Šarkadyová, Lucie ; Petříček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Kouba, Petr (referee)
Anotation: The diploma thesis Organic and Organized is divided into two parts. The first part is concerned with the relationship between the singular and the general, possibilities of the knowing the singular and its delineation considering the general - with a special attention being paid to medical discourse. A question will be raised whether we can get to know and describe the organic, which is also necessarily singular, which we can't be approached using general rules and laws. Speaking in even more general terms, we should consider the following: if we accept the singularity of the living organism, we should ask what it means for the science which tries to get to know it. The second task of this thesis is to answer (or at least to attempt to answer) the question, what is it that makes the organism singular and henceforth what is the important factor in the process of getting to know this singular. The thesis relies on a detailed reading of those French philosophers (George Canguilhem, Julien Offray de La Mettrie, Claude Bernard) who dedicate their philosophical work to an analysis of the medical science and at the same time are doctors.
The different kinds of saunas and their health significance. Description and history of various types of saunas, the importance of health, indications and contraindications\\
KALÍŠEK, Bořivoj
The submitted work expertly monitors using of sauna with regard to its development in historical aspects, to the oddness depending on the geographical location and progress of using saunas in the Czech Republic. The theoretical aim of this work is focused on sauna health effect, usage of sauna as the medical rehabilitative system and its influence on particular human organs, including related percept of lows and legal enactments. The aim of practical part is to work up an educational plan of using sauna for nursery school in Vimperk starting running of sauna in school year 2010 / 2011. The next target is monitoring of sickness absence of pre-school children in consequence of respiratory illnesses, the absence of children at nursery school compared to other schools in town. This research should document (demonstrate) positive effect of regular using of sauna on children´s health, their better immunity and shorter convalescence after respiratory illnesses.
